AMWASA Bestsellers to Set Your 2026 Reading Intentions
As we step into 2026, I’ve been doing a bit of reflecting (as one does in those in-between weeks in late December-early January), and I realised something I really want to share with you.
Alhamdulillah, 2025 was a big year for AMWASA… But not in a flashy, overnight-success kind of way. Rather, it was a big year in a slow and steady kind of way. And honestly? That means everything to me.
So I thought it would be nice to start the year by sharing our top-selling books of 2025. These are the titles our readers chose from our online shop, recommended to friends, and trusted enough to bring into their homes. Just a little snapshot of what resonated most within our own AMWASA community (this list doesn’t include sales from our partner bookshops).
If you’re setting reading goals for 2026, this list is a pretty good place to start.
1. Barfi Books – Volume 1
I don’t think anyone is surprised by this one taking the top spot.
Barfi Books – Volume 1 was our bestseller of 2025, and watching how warmly it’s been received has been such a joy. It reminded us that books can be light, wholesome, funny, and meaningful — especially when they’re created with love and good niyyats.
If you’re trying to build (or rebuild) a reading habit this year, this book makes reading feel easy and enjoyable again.
And yes, because many of you have already asked: Volume 2 is coming in April 2026, in sha Allah.
2. Reflections of 73 Years
This one, by zareesoul, quietly found its way into many hearts.
Reflections of 73 Years is the kind of book you don’t rush through. Readers loved its honesty, wisdom, and gentle reflections drawn from a life well lived. It’s reflective, grounding, and perfect for moments when you want to slow down and think a little deeper.
3. Tuqburni – Bury Me Softly
This book stayed with people.
Tuqburni – Bury Me Softly was one of those stories readers messaged us about after finishing, saying that it was emotional, tender, and beautifully written. It’s not a light read, but it’s a meaningful one, and clearly it resonated with many of you.
If 2026 is the year you want stories that feel something, this is one to add to your list.
4. Salaam2Soulm8 Series (Books 1 & 2)
These two were almost always bought together — which tells you everything you need to know.
The Salaam2Soulm8 series continues to be loved for how real it feels. Young Muslims experiencing halaal relationships, growth, with all the awkward, hopeful, human moments in between. It speaks to readers who want stories that reflect their values and lived experiences without feeling preachy or unrealistic.

5. Kismet – For Roses to Blossom
Ending our top five is a book that’s very close to my heart.
Kismet – For Roses to Blossom is about timing, trust, and learning to sit with Allah SWT’s plan even when it doesn’t make sense yet. Readers connected deeply with its themes of patience and healing — and I am so grateful it found its people.
Going Into 2026 with gratitude and hope
Seeing these books do well isn’t just about numbers. It’s about knowing that people are choosing intentional, values-aligned reading — for themselves, for their children, for their homes.
If one of your goals this year is to read more mindfully, read with purpose, or simply support small, community-driven businesses, thank you for being part of this journey.
From all of us at AMWASA — Shukran jazeeran for reading, sharing, and believing in what we’re building.
Here’s to a year of good books, meaningful stories, and barakah in every chapter.
