4. Online Shop
4.1 Products and Availability
Our online shop sells physical books and related materials. All products are subject to availability. We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate, but we reserve the right to correct errors and to withdraw any product at any time.
4.2 Pricing
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs (where applicable) are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is confirmed.
4.3 Orders
An order placed through our shop constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from AMWASA. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, in which case a full refund will be issued.
4.4 Delivery
Delivery timeframes and costs will be communicated at checkout or via email confirmation. AMWASA is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services or circumstances beyond our control.
5. Membership Terms
5.1 Overview
AMWASA offers four membership tiers. Each tier provides access to specific resources and community features as described below and on our membership page. By joining any paid tier, you agree to these terms.
5.2 Membership Tiers
Inklings (Free) — Our entry-level community for any Muslim woman with an interest in writing. Inklings members receive access to our free resource library and general community updates.
The Collective (Paid) — A paid tier providing access to our full resource library, tools, guides, and downloadable assets for Muslim women authors.
The Collective Inner Circle (Paid) — An exclusive, waitlist-screened tier capped at ten (10) members, providing all Collective benefits plus access to our private WhatsApp community. Membership is by application only and is subject to availability. The joining link is housed inside the member library and is not publicly accessible.
Quill Masters (Free — by arrangement) — Available at no charge to authors whose books are distributed through AMWASA, by prior arrangement. This tier is not publicly available for self-sign-up.
5.3 Billing and Renewal
Paid memberships (The Collective and The Collective Inner Circle) are billed on a monthly or annual recurring basis. By joining a paid tier, you authorise AMWASA — through our designated payment processor — to charge your selected payment method each month or year on your billing date.
Your membership will renew automatically each month or year unless cancelled. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details remain current and that sufficient funds are available on your billing date. AMWASA is not liable for service interruption caused by failed payments due to outdated or insufficient payment details.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into your member account and following the cancellation instructions, or by contacting us directly at the email address listed at the end of these Terms.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your membership benefits until that date. We do not offer partial-month refunds unless required by law.
5.5 Changes to Membership Pricing
AMWASA reserves the right to revise membership pricing. We will provide at least thirty (30) days’ notice of any price change via email to your registered address. Continued membership after the effective date of the change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
5.6 Membership Conduct
Membership in AMWASA is a privilege extended to Muslim women who share our commitment to faith-aligned, respectful community. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any membership — without refund — where a member’s conduct is found to be in breach of our community values, these Terms, or applicable law.
5.7 Inner Circle Waitlist
The Collective Inner Circle is capped at ten (10) members. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee membership. AMWASA will contact waitlisted applicants when a space becomes available and conduct a brief screening process before granting access.
6. Payment
6.1 Payment Methods
AMWASA accepts payment via the following methods:
- Yoco (card payments in person or via online link)
- PayFast (secure online payments including card, instant EFT, and select mobile wallets)
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly into the AMWASA bank account (details provided on request or at checkout)
Payment processing for online transactions is handled by our third-party payment providers (Yoco and PayFast). By making a payment, you also agree to the applicable terms and conditions of the payment provider used.
6.2 Security
AMWASA does not store your card or banking details. All payment data is processed securely by our payment providers in accordance with applicable payment card industry standards.
6.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, access to paid membership benefits may be suspended until payment is successfully received. We will attempt to notify you via email. AMWASA is not liable for any loss arising from a failed payment.

11. Changes to These Terms
AMWASA reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where changes are material, we will notify members via email.
