About the author

Zahra Rahman is a passionate reader, writer, and artist who finds joy in all things creative — even if that means a few half-finished art projects along the way. Having long noticed the lack of Muslim characters and Islamic representation in English literature, she was inspired to write her debut picture book, Where, Oh Where Can I Pray? — a heartfelt attempt to fill that gap and nurture young Muslim hearts. Zahra holds a BA Honours degree in Applied Linguistics and teaches English online, combining her love for language with her desire to make learning meaningful and inclusive.
